E-mobility: Local decision makers play a key role
Friday, 30 April 2010
First results of Apricum´s “ E-Mobility Readiness Study” - an international comparison of e-mobility market launch efforts - shows, that those concepts are the most successful ones, which are based on a close cooperation between regional and local decision makers. Notably municipalities are of particular importance in enabling e-mobility market development and should therefore become more involved in creating and implementing strategic concepts and take part in the discussion regarding public funding.
The „Apricum E-Mobility Readiness Studie“assesses the factors, necessary to enable the adoption of electric vehicles on a broad scale beyond model regions. Apricum conducts in-depth interviews with the relevant actors of German and international e-mobility projects and compiles their experiences. The study is to be completed in summer 2010.
